Thanks for the link, but...
- The fix for 6613927 is applied in my workspace
- The error I'm seeing (and as reported in 6613927)
is a link error, not a compile or runtime error
- I was seeing the error building in 32-bit mode, as you note.
I don't quite understand, but it seems
to be due to a change in the way
that the GNU toolchain handles unresolved references.
In any case, resolving unresolved references can only be good,
so is there any reason not to apply my patch?
It might even make the fix for 6613927 unnecessary.
The 64-bit-ness of that system may have been a red herring.
