As you can see no one has stepped up to do your review.
We’ve talked about it amongst the active GC committers.
It’s a large change and would require a very significant
commitment of anyone’s time. As is obvious, our focus
is on G1. And right now we’re in the position of having to
push tasks we’ve long planned for JDK 9 out into a JDK 9
update. No one I’ve talked with is willing to push off more
of our G1 work to get this patch in. And as maintainers
of the HotSpot GC's due diligence is required of us before
we can accept this change.
PS. I saw that you said you had started another thread for this
discussion (or maybe the discussion of the JEP) but I could not
it. Please feel free to repost this under the new subject.
