The way to do it is to:

*) clone the entire collections repository
(http://hg.openjdk.java.net/lambda/collections)
*) remove the langtools folder from the newly created repo (from step above)
*) clone the lambda main langtools repo
(http://hg.openjdk.java.net/lambda/lambda/langtools)
*) build the jdk
