Request for review : FreeType embedded in OSX packages

Speaking just for the lambda project I would very much prefer to have this change come as a result with a resync with the JDK 8 mainline repo. Changesets that don't exactly match jdk8 mainline will have to be manually merged at some point and we would prefer to avoid that. ie. if we can 'hg import' the same changeset as jdk8 then we will but otherwise we really don't want to.
