I have attached an updated version of this patch 

this solves a llvm/lib/VMCore/Value.cpp:175: void
llvm::Value::setName(const llvm::Twine&): Assertion `!
getType()->isVoidTy() && "Cannot assign a name to void values!"' failed.
assertion error.
