A couple of questions about the new build system

The new build doesn't work on "particular areas" to that granularity.

For each of the main targets in the new build there is a corresponding 
"clean" target eg:

jdk clean-jdk
langtools clean-langtools
hotspot clean-hotspot
images clean-images
