Try the Linux x64 versions from   These free and open source
 binaries are kept up to date with the latest OpenJDK releases.   Any 32-bit version
of a any JDK is gonna give you problems getting at more than 2 GB of RAM without 
special hardware and/or software tricks at the OS level. 

Note the is also maintaing the long awaited Windows Binary versions 
of the OpenJDK.
