Hi Frans,

we don't plan to make JRockit VE part of OpenJDK.

To quote from Henrik's blog post on our JVM strategy at ,

"Sun's Java for Business and Oracle's JRockit Mission Control, JRockit
Real Time and JRockit Virtual Edition remain proprietary value-adds and continue to
be licensed on a commercial basis as premium products"
