I tried to start AU because it was the only thing on this topic I've seen interest in from jfx and so I assumed it was something more likely to get picked up but Igor seemed to lose interest. If you had to pick one thing in this area to get done what would it be and if it was done when would be the earliest it would get included in a jfx release?

I am looking at assignments on our side so that we can have somebody senior dedicated full time to the packaging etc who is not involved in the plugin, such that we don't get side-tracked by security issues / etc in the plugin that are always coming up. When that is done, it should be a lot clearer. The AU code I think is a must, but I think a lot of the other issues are also pretty critical. Also there has been some realignment and I expect we will get better tooling support for this in NetBeans as well in the future.
